What the plant is like

Weedmaps describes a bushy, indica-leaning plant with solid lateral branching, and Weedmaps and AllBud describe heart-shaped, dark olive-green buds with purple undertones, sparse orange hairs and purple-tinted white trichomes.4,8 Big Head Seeds says its version has dark green leaves and flowers under a white coat of resin, with medium-high density buds suited to resin extraction; Purple City Genetics describes dense buds with an impressive resin layer.3,6

What to watch for

Difficulty is disputed. Zamnesia calls Barney’s Farm’s version easy enough for novices, Weedmaps rates the strain moderate, and Leafly rates its parent The Original Z medium to difficult.4,5,9 The bigger variable is the seed line: Barney’s Farm and Big Head Seeds sell Zkittlez × Watermelon crosses, while Pyramid Seeds and Purple City Genetics trace theirs to Watermelon Zum Zum #3 × OG Eddy, and they describe different plants.1,2,3,6 Weedmaps recommends a warm, Mediterranean climate, 70–80°F in the daytime.4

Seeds and the law in the US

Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.10 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.11 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
