Watermelon Z is easiest to find on Weedmaps around Los Angeles, where 104 stores within 50 miles listed it on Oct 4, 2026, and Detroit (34); in all, 216 store listings in 16 of 27 markets, with none in 11.1 In both leading markets most menu items were infused flower: 95 of 111 around Los Angeles and 31 of 41 around Detroit.1 Few markets had enough priced eighths to compare prices: the median eighth was $25 around Oklahoma City (13 priced) and $38 around New York (10 priced).1

Watermelon Z in Germany
In Germany, cannabis is a prescription medicine dispensed by pharmacies. On Oct 3, 2026, weed.de's catalog of 2,150 medical cannabis products listed none made from Watermelon Z.7
How these numbers were collected
- Source: Weedmaps’ public product listings, captured on Oct 4, 2026 for one city per state, counting stores and deliveries within 50 miles and in the same state.1
- A menu item counts when its name contains "Watermelon Z", "Watermelon Zkittlez", "Watermelon Zkittles", "Watermelon Skittlez" or "Watermelon Skittles" (spaces optional, so "WatermelonZ" counts) and it is listed as flower, including infused flower. Crosses written with x, × or + next to the name; other strains named with Sour, Frozen, Pink, White, Blue, Purple, Black, Super or Royal in front, such as "Sour Watermelon Zkittlez"; and pre-rolls, vapes and other non-flower items filed under flower are excluded.
- Infused flower counts toward store and item totals but is never priced. "Median eighth" uses only items sold as an eighth (3.5 g). Listed prices may or may not include tax, deals are not applied, and medians from a handful of items are indicative only.
- Items are found through Weedmaps’ own strain tag and a name search, and each must pass the name rule above. Only stores with a Weedmaps menu are counted, so a low count can reflect Weedmaps coverage rather than the market.

Names you will see on menus
Menus use both names. Weedmaps lists Watermelon Z, Wmz and Watermelon Skittles as other names for Watermelon Zkittlez, and Leafly files the strain as Watermelon Z.2,3 State lab records lean the other way: 62 of the 63 flower tests in our sample use a Zkittlez or Skittles spelling, and one says Watermelon Z.4 The name is also a product line: STIIIZY sells Watermelon Z as a 7 g infused flower coated with THC-A diamonds, and in 2024 Leafly noted Watermelon Z cartridges from Rockin Extract.5,6 "Sour Watermelon Zkittlez", the most common near-miss name in our lab data (48 results), is kept out of the lab numbers and, under the menu rule above, out of the store counts on this site.4
